Facts about Second Language Acquisition

 You teach English at college. You were given a class for the fifth semester that has 30 students. Only 5 students seem to have the level required because they follow you without any issues.  The rest of the students keep speaking in Spanish because they can not understand the class in English.  Do you think speaking Spanish will help them acquire a higher level?
